Thank you for your interest in becoming a Navy League Phuket Member.
Our Navy League Phuket Council devotes time, money, materials and manpower to supporting and improving the wellbeing of American sea-service personnel and their families visiting us here in Phuket. Our Southern Seaboard Council relies on the direct support provided through co-operation with our local Community Affiliate & Contributing Members and their businesses.
Applying and building on this Community Affiliates & Contributing Members support base are all of the individual members, those people that make everything about our organization work. Our member types are classed as Associate if they are not USA citizens, or as Regular if USA citizens. Generally speaking Associate and Regular members hold the same privileges, including voting.
Some of the Derived Benefits for being a Navy League Phuket (NLP) Member include
- NLP members and their families are given the opportunity to join in our special event offers to the crews of visiting ships. These events can include BBQs, kegs of beer, cocktails or some special activity.
- NLP Members and their families are invited to participate in Special Ship Tours aboard visiting ships.
- NLP members and their families are invited to limited attendance functions with Ship Officers.
- NLP members receive a monthly issue of SEAPOWER Magazine.
- Our NLP Council takes a strong and active interest in working with the local Royal Thai Police, the Royal Thai Navy, several local all-foreign-volunteer police groups, all supporting the safety and well-being of our servicemen while in Phuket. Our members are invited to become actively involved. Contact us to learn more.
- Our NLP Council budgets resources for Council Development, Fund Raising, Acquiring Equipment, Supplies & Manpower. Our NLP embers are invited, encouraged and needed to become actively involved in one or more areas of support. Contact us to see where you can help.
- NLP Individual Membership is currently 2,000 baht / 12-month subscription. Contact us to arrange a meeting to complete the application information. Please provide signed copy of your current passport photo page or Thai photo ID.
